Security+
So starts another Exam Prep Station. I received my Comptia Security+ Books yesterday. The Exam Prep book is roughly 600 pages. I am hoping that I can get the book completed by January 2023. And then starting next year I can attempt to pass the exam. It will be interesting to see what tools are done for Mitigation and Analysis of cyber security threats. It's about 8:30am on the east coast and I start my work shift at 10:00am. I got up relatively early this morning in combination to my normal wake up routine. I think working an over night shift Sunday into Monday may have reset my internal clock. So now instead of needing 8-10 hours of sleep... i can do well on between 6 and 8 hours of sleep. I dont know this for certain... as it has only been a day. But it would be nice to think that i can wake up at 7am without a problem.
At 7:45 this morning I had an alarm set to put on a nicotine patch. And that's exactly what i had done. I threw out the remainder of my pack earlier this morning (Right around the time I first woke up). I've had a couple of concerns come up over the last several days. But overall I would say I'm doing well. When i weighed myself this morning I cam in at 256.8lbs. I believe between the reduction in medication... put the fiber supplement I have been taking has been leading to slow and steady weight loss. I wish I could say that it was my dietary habits have changed... but to be honest, I'm still getting fast food once a week or more... and i am still ordering unhealthy foods when the opportunity presents itself. I am thinking that I am going to be signing up for a gym membership that allows for 24 hours access. What I've found is that on a friday or saturday night... I am going out and socializing and the pattern needs to stop if i want to get anywhere near the 240lb mark.
