Something all together different.
I want to talk about a recent movie that came out. The premise of the story was that an older man who was seeing a therapist regarding his schizophrenia was actually trapped in a dystopian future where machines ruled the world. We all know the movie... but what i want to say about this past sequel was that the concept of a secret universe hiding just behind the curtain, is actually a valid thought process for those of us who are Schizo. When i was at the peak of my illness in 2017... When working nights, i would go around 2 or 3 am to the gas station near my work so i could grab a coffee. One night when walking in... there was a man in a suit who was leaned up against the the cooler doors and as i walked by, he said "we needed you rich." At the time i thought he was someone from the government who had been waiting there for me to walk in at that very time. As i got my coffee and proceeded to leave, the man was still standing there, facing away from me at this point... and i went about my day. The concept for this type of encounter is based in may different conspiracies. You have the Men In Black that are part of the government. You have the Agents from the movie i just mentioned that always seem to be chasing the hero... And you have a number of Different secret organizations that all via for control over the world through secret channels.
In hind sight... I believe i saw a hallucination. At the time I had been very unwell. Thinking that people were reading my thoughts because we all existed on the same family tree... and that in that reality people in the family tree could all communicate with each other telepathically. I've yet to prove any of this... and truth be told I don't really want to. The depths of Schizoaffective disorder really did a number on me over the few years that I was being improperly medicated.
When i saw this recent movie... I felt a bit sad in a way. Because this earth shattering movie which came out in the late 90's was bringing forth an idea that to make who have been affected by psychosis a false narrative that maybe they weren't crazy... Maybe the trick really is to take the right pills and escape the illusion thats being pulled down around you. I'm 99% sure this wasn't the intention of the movie. But when one has fears that a super advanced AI is going to take over and destroy hummanity.... Its very easy to imagine it because there have been so many movies over the past 40 years that have sensationalized this type of future.
Thats all i have for now...
